Bizzare Facts: Grade 6 + 7 Assignment 2 (Part 2)

You are working for a fictional newspaper called "AIS News". You are going to design the front page and write the first cover story

Activity 1: You will create a six question survey. Find out about your classmates favorite singer or sportsperson (send your questionnaire to a minimum of six people).

Activity 2:  Look at the results from your survey and decide who you are going to write a story about. The story must contain some Bizarre Facts

Activity 3: Use Internet Searching skills to find 5 sources of information to help you write your story. You must complete this Information Sources Table saying where the information comes from and if it is reliable or not.

(You don't have to use the Internet for this! Books, magazines and newspapers etc are also good information sources)


Activity 4: Create an article for AIS News using Microsoft Publisher which will display your story.
